Three Boys; Donuts; Good Times.

February 12, 2016

My wife and I went into a donut shop to grab a cup of tea.

At a donutscounter sat three young teen-aged boys. It appeared they were Asian, white and East Indian. They were munching away on a dozen donuts they were sharing. As we walked past, I questioned with a smile on my face, “Lunch?”

One of the boys looked up and with a smile on his face, respectfully and kind of gleefully, said, “Good times!”

Indeed, it really looked like good times.

While we can discuss the nutritional value of a dozen donuts between three boys, on so many other different levels I was happy with what I saw.
