Please note, treatment for sexual abuse can be controversial. This represents but one approach and may not be suitable for everyone. Clients are always advised to ask the prospective therapist about their approach to counseling, fees, hours of operation and expertise.

    Bravo, Gary, I couldn’t agree more! My specialization is working with children and families where there has been sexual abuse, and I have had very similar experiences to yours and approach the topic in much the same way. Thanks for shining a light on this!
